“Joanna is a wonderful host. Her home is a lovely calm place with an outdoor patio and spaciious living areas that you can use for reading or relaxing. The house is from the late 1800s and a really great example of period architecture. I had several nice conversation wiht Joanna. She is very lively, interesting and generous person who knows Northampton and the surrounding area very well. The house is warm, cozy, and quiet, and my room was spacious and nicely appointed, with an excellent bed. The best part for me is that Joanna’s home is fragrance-free. I cannot stand the chemical smell of most hotel rooms because of the toxic cleaners and masking frangrances that are sprayed on everything, so staying with Joanna was a relief from that.”
